The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ondo State says it has received Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the collection exercise scheduled to begin on Oct. 9.

According to INEC, the cards are for voters who transferred their registration during the recently concluded Continuous Voter Registration exercise. The cards will be moved to the commission’s 18 Local Government Area offices before collection at ward level.

Affected voters have been urged to visit their respective Registration Area or ward centres to verify their details and collect their PVCs ahead of the 2027 general election.

INEC also said it has conducted a nationwide testing and inventory exercise on BVAS devices to strengthen its technological preparedness for the 2027 elections.
