The 150th Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame (LBHF) Divisional Championships will take place on Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre, Rowe Park, Yaba.
The competition, organised with the Lagos State Boxing Association, will feature 10 bouts involving men and women, alongside two secondary school exhibition bouts. Boxers from Lagos’ five divisions — Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe — will compete for places in the end-of-year Governor’s Belt competition.
The tournament has continued to provide a platform for grassroots boxing development in Lagos, with the divisions producing representatives for the annual finale. The event is also expected to showcase young boxing talent and encourage continued participation in the sport.
