Nigerian Afropop star Yemi Alade has released a new studio album titled “It’s Yemi Alade,” adding another project to her decade-plus career in the Nigerian music industry.
The singer announced the album’s release on Friday, September 11, on her official Instagram page, confirming that it is available on major digital streaming platforms. The project features collaborations with artists including Spyro, Ferre Gola, Don Jazzy, Jeriq and Teni.
The album includes tracks such as “Alhaja,” “General Market,” “Coco Na Yam” featuring Ferre Gola, “Little Kiss (E Good)” and “Yemi Mi Lova” featuring Spyro. The release follows her 2024 album, “Rebel Queen,” and her 2025 single “Shawa Shawa.”
Known for hits including “Johnny,” “Ferrari” and “Tumbum,” Yemi Alade has built her sound around African languages, rhythms and cultural influences. The new album further expands her growing catalogue and reinforces her presence on the African music scene.
