Nigerian filmmaker Akay Mason’s latest movie, Five Figurines, will premiere in cinemas nationwide on November 13, 2026.
The mystery film, directed and co-produced by Mason and produced by Becca Ashang, is being distributed by Cinemax. The distributor announced the release date on its social media platform.
Five Figurines features a star-studded cast including Ini Edo, Mike Ezuruonye, Uche Montana, Chimezie Imo, Nkechi Blessing, Ireti Doyle and Bimbo Akintola, among others.
The movie is Mason’s latest project following his work on productions such as Elevator Baby, Day of Destiny and Superstar. He is known for directing and producing contemporary Nigerian films.
The November release is expected to add to the growing list of Nigerian productions heading to cinemas in 2026, while creating opportunities for actors, filmmakers and other professionals across the creative industry.
