Hollywood releases ‘Supergirl’ and Disney’s animated adventure ‘Moana’ are recording strong performances at the West African box office, reflecting continued audience interest in international films.
According to FilmOne Entertainment, Supergirl has grossed N164 million across the West African box office, with the distributor thanking cinema audiences for their strong support of the superhero film.
Meanwhile, Moana has earned N86 million, maintaining a steady run in cinemas across the region. FilmOne said the animated film continues to attract audiences with its adventure-driven storyline and family appeal.
Both movies are still showing in cinemas, with their performances highlighting the resilience of the West African cinema market and the enduring popularity of superhero and animated films among moviegoers.
