Popular comedian M.O.P is returning to the stage with the fourth edition of his annual comedy show, “Son of Patience.”
The entertainer, whose real name is Ifeanyichukwu Ogbonnaya, says comedy continues to play an important role in helping Nigerians navigate daily challenges by providing moments of laughter, relief and hope. The show is scheduled to hold in September at the Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
Since its debut in 2022, “Son of Patience” has grown into a notable entertainment event, with past editions exploring themes such as Next of Kin, Like Father Like Son, Slip of Tongue and Laugh in Stock. This year’s edition will feature stand-up comedy, music and dance performances.
M.O.P also highlighted the growing impact of comedy on Nigeria’s creative economy, noting that the industry continues to create jobs, support businesses and showcase Nigerian culture to global audiences.
