ADC, RIVERS GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE MOURN MARY AMAECHI, CALL FOR UNITY AND SERVICE

Listen

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) and its Rivers State governorship candidate, Dr. Gabriel Pidomson, have expressed condolences to former Minister of Transportation and ADC Vice-Presidential Candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, over the death of his mother, Mrs. Mary Oduah-Amaechi.

In separate tributes, the party and Pidomson described the late Mrs. Amaechi as a devoted matriarch whose life was marked by faith, compassion, strength and selfless service. They noted that the values she instilled helped shape the leadership qualities and public service record of her son and impacted many lives beyond her immediate family.

Pidomson called on Rivers people to honour her memory by embracing peace, unity and mutual respect, regardless of political, ethnic or religious differences. According to him, there can be no greater tribute to her life than a collective commitment to the progress and unity of Rivers State.

The ADC also prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant the Amaechi family strength, comfort and peace during this period of mourning.
