The Ekiti State Police Command has announced the rescue of victims abducted during an attack on Christ Apostolic Church, Eda-Oniyo, on April 28, 2026, following weeks of coordinated Inter-Agency security operations.
According to the police, the rescued victims have been taken to a medical facility where they are undergoing examination and necessary treatment.
Reacting to the development, the Commissioner of Police in Ekiti State, CP Falade Adegoroye Michael, praised the commitment and collaboration of all security agencies and stakeholders involved in the operation.
The command urged residents to continue partnering with security agencies by providing prompt and credible information that could help prevent crime and strengthen security across the state.
