TROOPS REPEL ATTACK IN KEBBI, RECOVER WEAPONS AND EXPLOSIVES

Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have repelled an attack by suspected Lakurawa terrorists during a clearance operation in Kebbi State.

According to military sources, the encounter happened around Dogon Daji in Dandi Local Government Area. The suspected terrorists were engaged in a gunfight before fleeing the area.

Items recovered during the operation include rocket-propelled grenade launchers, explosives, motorcycles, and other equipment reportedly abandoned by the attackers.

Authorities say the operation is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle armed groups and strengthen security across the North-West region.
