Football clubs preparing for the 2025/2026 FCT FA Division One League now have extra time to complete their registration.
The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has extended the registration deadline from May 30 to June 19. According to the association, the extension is intended to give clubs additional time to complete their payments and registration requirements.
FCT FA Secretary, Haruna Ilerika, said registration fees remain ₦150,000 for Division One clubs and ₦120,000 for Division Two clubs. He also stated that the Division One League is scheduled to kick off on June 29 and that no further extension will be granted.
The association warned that any Division One club that fails to meet the deadline could be replaced. Clubs have been urged to complete the registration process to ensure a smooth start to the new league season.
