The National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Kogi State has expressed readiness to partner with the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) to provide free legal services for members of the public.

The State Director of NOA, Mrs Aileku Ayedime, made the pledge during a stakeholders’ consultation meeting with female judicial officers in Lokoja. She said the collaboration would support the creation of moot courts where people can receive pro bono legal advice and assistance.

She also noted that NOA has set up gender desks across its offices to support individuals seeking help on legal and related issues. According to her, the agency remains committed to promoting justice, fairness, and inclusion, including support for persons living with disabilities.

The agency reaffirmed its willingness to strengthen partnerships that advance access to justice and social inclusion in the state.
