Residents of Ibeju-Lekki heading home for Eid-el-Kabir will get free transportation support from the local government this week.
The Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki LGA, Abdullahi Sesan-Olowa, said the council will provide free bus rides from CMS Bus Stop and Ikorodu Garage to Ibeju-Lekki beginning from Tuesday, May 26.
According to the council, the initiative is aimed at helping Muslim residents reunite with their families for the Eid celebration. The buses are expected to operate in five trips.
Interested residents have been asked to register through the official link provided by the council or call 08055678973 for enquiries.
The Federal Government has already declared Wednesday and Thursday as public holidays for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
