Lagos State says its new Lagos Emergency Responder Management System (LERMS) will significantly improve how emergencies are managed across the state.
This was highlighted at a stakeholder engagement and technical training session in Lagos, where officials said the system will strengthen coordination, communication, and response time among emergency agencies. The platform is designed to support faster dispatch and real-time monitoring of incidents.
According to stakeholders, LERMS will help improve responses to emergencies such as fire outbreaks, road crashes, flooding, and building collapses, through better inter-agency collaboration and technology-driven coordination.
Officials also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to investing in emergency infrastructure and improving public safety services across Lagos State.
