LAGOS POLICE ARREST 6 SUSPECTED ‘ONE CHANCE’ ROBBERY OPERATIVES IN OKOTA

The Lagos State Police Command says six suspected members of a ‘One Chance’ robbery syndicate have been arrested in the Okota area of the state.

Police spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebisi said the suspects were apprehended during a stop-and-search operation along Ago Palace Way. According to the command, the suspects allegedly abandoned a tricycle and attempted to flee after sighting police officers.

The police said a cutlass, a mobile phone and a dummy pistol were recovered during the operation. The suspects are expected to face charges after investigations are concluded.

The command has also encouraged residents to continue sharing timely and credible information to support crime prevention efforts across Lagos State.
