APC leaders in Alimosho have assured party members of a peaceful and orderly House of Representatives primary election in Pako Ward C1, Lagos State.
Speaking during the exercise on Saturday, party leaders said members were united and committed to a free and fair process. Security personnel, including police officers, were also deployed to the venue ahead of the primaries.
Party stakeholders confirmed support for incumbent lawmaker Mr Ganiyu Ayuba, while maintaining that members would still have the opportunity to freely express their choices during the exercise.
Party members at the venue expressed optimism that the primaries would be conducted peacefully and conclude successfully.
