The FCT chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has carried out a membership verification and revalidation exercise as part of efforts to update and sanitise its membership database.
The exercise, which took place at the guild’s national secretariat in Abuja, required physical attendance from actors across the Federal Capital Territory.
According to AGN officials, the process is aimed at identifying legitimate members, removing unregistered names from the database, and transitioning records into the AGN Super App digital platform.
The guild also used the opportunity to encourage actors to subscribe to its health insurance scheme to improve access to medical care and routine health checks.
Participants at the event described the initiative as a positive step toward improving transparency and strengthening the organisation.
