Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Hope Uzodimma, has called for deeper collaboration between Nigeria’s diplomatic community and the Federal Government to support investment, security cooperation and sustainable development.
Speaking during an interactive session with diplomats in Abuja, Uzodimma said the Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to strengthen institutions, restore investor confidence and promote inclusive prosperity across the country.
The governor noted that improved macroeconomic stability and ongoing reforms are creating opportunities for stronger private sector investment and international partnerships.
European Union Ambassador to Nigeria, Gautier Mignot, described governors as key partners in addressing security, poverty and development challenges, adding that Nigeria remains strategically important with significant economic opportunities.
