The Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) will host its 3rd Interclub Golf Championship from May 13 to May 16 in Port Harcourt.
The championship, themed “Swing Bold, Play Brilliant,” will take place at the Port Harcourt Club 1928 Golf Section and is recognised as a World Amateur Golf Ranking event sanctioned by the R&A.
LGAN President, Lami Onayi Ahmed, said the tournament is aimed at promoting friendship, discipline and healthy competition among female golfers while creating opportunities for talent development across Nigeria.
Lady golfers from affiliated clubs nationwide are expected to participate in the four-day event, which will also feature practice rounds, ceremonial activities and prize presentations.
