Ilorin, May 2, 2026 — Gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked a Police Mobile Force (PMF) camp in Tenebo village, Kaiama LGA of Kwara, killing three officers and injuring several others.
The attack, which happened in the early hours, was described by the state Commissioner of Police, Ojo Adekimi, as “heinous and cowardly.”
He praised the fallen officers for their bravery and sacrifice, while extending condolences to their families and wishing the injured a quick recovery.
The command says it has launched a full-scale operation to track down the attackers, vowing that “there will be no hiding place” for those responsible.
