The All Progressives Congress rolled out its big guns in Ado-Ekiti as Gov. Biodun Oyebanji officially launched his re-election campaign.
Leading the charge were power players like Uba Sani, Hope Uzodinma, Usman Ododo and Lucky Aiyedatiwa—a clear show of force ahead of the June 20 governorship poll.
Oyebanji, rallying supporters, pointed to gains in infrastructure, education and social programmes, crediting strong backing from Bola Tinubu. He urged voters to “return the favour” at the polls.
Party leaders say momentum is on their side, with thousands of canvassers deployed and a bold target of 500,000 votes. The message? Unity, continuity, and no room for a shaky campaign.
With endorsements pouring in and political heavyweights closing ranks, the race for Ekiti Government House is officially on and it’s shaping up to be intense.
