TRADITIONAL HONOUR: TINUBU, ONYEJEOCHA BAG CHIEFTAINCY TITLES IN ABIA

Listen

Tinubu and Onyejeocha receive royal recognition as 2027 moves quietly into focus.

Traditional rulers in Umunneochi, Abia State, have conferred the title “Ike Oha 1” (Strength of the People) on Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing his support and appointment of their daughter, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, into his cabinet.

The honour came during a civic reception in Isuochi, where Onyejeocha was also crowned “Anyanwu na-enye ìhè 1” (The Sun That Gives Light) in recognition of her development strides in the area.

Community leaders praised her track record, highlighting projects and stability during her time in office, while Tinubu—represented at the event—expressed appreciation for the honour and her service.

Onyejeocha, who recently stepped down as minister, used the moment to signal her next move—a return bid to the National Assembly in 2027—and urged residents to support Tinubu at the polls.
