Rep. Remi Oseni has declared his ambition to contest the Oyo South Senatorial seat while pledging to mobilise one million votes in Oyo State for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
Speaking in Ibadan, the lawmaker said his senate bid is part of a bigger mission—to strengthen grassroots support for the president and help APC reclaim power in the state.
Oseni pointed to his support group, ROKOF, already active across all 33 LGAs, as the engine behind the ambitious vote target.
He also highlighted his track record in the House—motions, projects, and advocacy—saying he’s ready to do more at the Senate level, especially for youth empowerment, education, and healthcare.
Backing him, Sen. Sharafadeen Alli described Oseni as a strong candidate, urging party unity ahead of 2027.
