Several groups in Kosofe, including JAGG and community organisations, have thrown their weight behind former Agboyi-Ketu LCDA chairman, Dele Oshinowo, urging him to run for the House of Representatives under the APC.
The endorsement came after a stakeholders’ meeting in Agboyi-Ketu, where supporters praised his track record in education, healthcare, infrastructure and grassroots empowerment.
Convener Abdulwahid Odunuga said Oshinowo’s performance “redefined governance,” while others highlighted his inclusive leadership style and strong community engagement.
Supporters, however, want him to tackle lingering water challenges if elected.
Responding, Oshinowo thanked the groups, calling the endorsement a sign of trust, and pointed to his achievements in housing, schools, and healthcare during his tenure.
