From Enugu to Europe-standard classrooms — a new aviation partnership is opening doors for Nigerians to train, certify, and compete globally.
Aviation training just got a major lift in Nigeria as Eastwing Aviation Institute, Enugu, partners with Sofema Aviation Services (Bulgaria) to roll out over 525 internationally recognised courses.
The programme, supported through a bursary scheme, will give Nigerian students and professionals access to EASA-compliant aviation training covering safety management, maintenance, compliance, and aviation leadership.
According to organisers, the initiative is designed to close skills gaps and prepare Nigerians for global aviation careers, while removing financial barriers through training support funding.
Sofema Aviation Services said the partnership is also an investment in aviation safety and professionalism across Africa.
The Eastwing Youth Foundation described the deal as a major step toward aligning local training with international standards and building a stronger talent pipeline for the industry.
