Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has pledged to purchase the governorship nomination form for Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking to APC supporters in Gusau, Matawalle said the move reflects unity among political leaders in the state under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He described himself, Lawal, and other former governors as “one family,” stressing that their focus is on peace, stability, and development in Zamfara.
Matawalle also praised Lawal’s performance in key sectors like education, health, infrastructure, and security, urging residents to support his second-term bid.
He added that party stakeholders are united in backing the governor and called on supporters to work together for the state’s progress.
