Stephen Nwogha, Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government, has introduced the National Identification Number (NIN) and other data as requirements for renting apartments to curb crime. Speaking on his two-year tenure, Nwogha highlighted collaboration with police and army to enhance security. He also touted progress in health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and youth empowerment training over 1,000 youths and providing starter packs to fight unemployment.
He urged street youths to embrace government job creation policies and strive for self-reliance.
