Bendel Insurance coach Kennedy Boboye has called on his players to secure victory when they host Ikorodu City in Wednesday’s Matchday 5 fixture of the 2026/27 NPFL season.
The Benin Arsenal currently have six points from four matches, following two wins and two defeats. Boboye said the team must respond strongly after their 2–1 defeat to newly promoted Ranchers Bees FC in Kano.
The coach also acknowledged the team’s struggles away from home and said some new players are still adjusting to the squad. He expressed confidence that the team will improve as the season progresses.
The match will be the first midweek fixture of the new NPFL season at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
