The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a planned annual preventive maintenance at its Bida 132/33kV Transmission Substation in Niger State on Wednesday, September 16.
The maintenance is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will involve work on a 60MVA transformer and associated switchgear. During the exercise, AEDC will be unable to supply electricity to customers in several areas, including Bida Town, Army Barracks, Agaie, Doko, Baro, Zago, Emi Rani, Bussu, Laugba Goshigi, Lafiyagi Essa, Amgulu, Mansantali, Agaie Town, Low Cost, Masaga and surrounding villages.
TCN said electricity supply will be restored to the affected areas after the maintenance is completed. The company also apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused by the planned exercise.
