Abuja Technology and Digital Economy Week (ATDEW) 2026 is set to connect investors and technology companies with development opportunities at Abuja Technology Village, organisers say.
Chairman of the ATDEW Steering Committee, Andrew Abu, on Monday September 14, said the event, themed “Energizing Smart Mobility: Powering Cities of the Future,” would help turn Nigerian innovations into jobs, products and services while attracting local and foreign investment. He said the initiative would showcase market-ready innovations, facilitate deal-making and strengthen Abuja’s position as a hub for smart-city and technology investments.
Abu said the event would also support startups, attract venture capital and private equity, commercialise research and provide a platform for government and the private sector to develop policies that reduce the cost of doing business in the technology sector. Selected innovators from the National Innovation Challenge are expected to receive access to technology infrastructure, incubation, mentorship, pilot opportunities and commercialisation support at the Science and Technology Park.
ATDEW 2026 is expected to attract at least 7,000 delegates, including policymakers, investors, startups and development partners. The programme will feature exhibitions, an investor deal room and an investment forum focused on smart mobility, clean energy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure.
The event is to take place in Abuja from 25th to 27th November, 2026, and will be hosted by Young Innovators of Nigeria in collaboration with the Rural Electrification Agency and the Nigeria Computer Society.
