Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain have opened their title defence with a 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in Paris.
Ousmane Dembele scored twice, while new signing Ferran Torres struck a hat-trick as PSG took control of the match. Fabian Ruiz completed the scoring in stoppage time after Suleiman Camara pulled one back for Bratislava.
Arsenal also began their campaign with a win, beating Napoli 1-0 away through a 75th-minute strike from captain Martin Odegaard. At Anfield, Liverpool came from behind to defeat Atletico Madrid 2-1, while Barcelona thrashed Feyenoord 5-1.
The Champions League action continues on Thursday, with six more fixtures scheduled.
