Veteran Nigerian singer and songwriter, Waje, has marked her birthday with the release of the first look at her upcoming movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone.
The singer shared glimpses of the film on her verified Instagram page, describing the unveiling as a beautiful way to celebrate her new year. She expressed gratitude for opportunities to showcase her creativity and revealed that the movie will hit cinemas globally on December 11.
Produced by Funke Akindele Network (FAAN TV) and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, The Four is a drama centred on friendship, motherhood, resilience and the strength of ordinary women. The film features Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Waje and other Nollywood stars.
Born on September 1, 1980, in Akure, Ondo State, Waje has built a successful career in music and acting. She has featured in several hit songs and productions, including Tunnel and Battleground, and also served as a coach on the inaugural season of The Voice Nigeria.
