Nigerian Afrobeats star Oyinkansola Sarah, popularly known as Ayra Starr, is set to headline the American Express halftime show at the NFL London Game on Oct. 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The singer will perform during the clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars as part of the NFL’s 2026 International Games. The NFL described Ayra Starr as a “generational talent” and highlighted her strong connection with audiences in London and around the world.
Ayra Starr also confirmed the performance on Instagram, describing it as a dream come true and expressing excitement about bringing her fans, known as Starrs, to the NFL’s global stage. The appearance is expected to further showcase Nigerian music to a major international audience.
The singer rose to prominence with her 2021 debut album, 19 & Dangerous, and has since built an international profile with hits including Rush and Bloody Samaritan, alongside collaborations and major live performances.
