Award-winning Nigerian spoken-word poet Dayana Modeme has released her latest album, Stories on the Line, blending traditional Nigerian storytelling with contemporary spoken-word poetry and nightlife culture.
Modeme announced the release on Instagram, describing the project as an exploration of what happens when Nigerian oral traditions, nightlife and modern spoken word come together in one body of work.
She said the album is now available on major streaming platforms and thanked listeners for their support. Modeme also expressed appreciation to her mother for encouraging her throughout the project.
Stories on the Line combines spoken-word poetry and storytelling with a contemporary musical approach, further showcasing the versatility of Nigeria’s growing creative and performance arts scene.
