Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele is set to release her latest movie, Where Is Mr. Right?, on August 15.
Akindele announced the release on her X handle, sharing the film’s official poster and confirming its premiere date on Prime Video.
Produced by Funke Akindele Network and directed by Tunde Olaoye, the movie features Akindele alongside Blossom Chukwujekwu, Baba Rex, Bisola Aiyeola and Omowunmi Dada.
The release adds to Akindele’s growing body of work as an actress, producer and filmmaker, following her involvement in several successful Nigerian film and television productions.
Where Is Mr. Right? will also join the growing number of Nigerian productions reaching international audiences through major streaming platforms, providing another avenue for Nigerian stories and talent to gain wider exposure.
