Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has released a new single titled “I Love You Because”, adding another release to his solo music catalogue.
The former P-Square member announced the song on his verified Instagram account, accompanied by promotional visuals. He said both the audio and video are now available on major streaming platforms.
“I Love You Because” explores themes of appreciation, emotional maturity and the reasons people remain committed to someone special. The song is part of Mr P’s upcoming project, “OG Forever.”
The release has attracted reactions from fans and fellow artistes, with singer Don Flexx describing the track as a “song for the mind, body and soul,” while other listeners praised its message and sound.
Mr P continues to build his solo career following the dissolution of P-Square, the group he formed with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy.
