Music from the defunct P-Square group has returned to Nigeria’s Apple Music Albums Chart amid renewed public attention surrounding the ongoing dispute between twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye.
According to music chart platform Album Talks HQ, the group’s compilation album, Best of P-Square, climbed 87 places to number 100 on the Nigeria Apple Music Albums Chart. Their albums Get Squared and Game Over also re-entered the chart at numbers 173 and 182 respectively.
The renewed interest in P-Square’s catalogue comes as the latest exchange between the brothers continues to attract reactions on social media. Fans have been revisiting the group’s popular songs, including “Bizzy Body,” “Do Me,” “Game Over” and “Alingo.”
P-Square became one of Africa’s most successful music groups after rising to prominence in the early 2000s. The brothers first split in 2017 amid reported disagreements before reuniting in 2021, but separated again in 2024 to pursue solo careers as Mr P and Rudeboy. Their latest public dispute has once again placed their music legacy in the spotlight.
