Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Rema has released his first solo single of 2026, “TEA,” alongside its official music video. The track, produced by American hitmaker Mustard and longtime collaborator London, marks the beginning of the rollout for the singer’s highly anticipated third studio album, expected later this year.
Blending heavy log drums, a catchy chorus and Rema’s signature Afrobeats sound, “TEA” celebrates feminine beauty while showcasing the artist’s evolving musical style. The single is released under Mavin Records and Jonzing World, with global distribution by Interscope Records.
The new release follows Rema’s recent solo and collaborative tracks, including “Baby (Is It a Crime)” and “Bout U,” and builds on the momentum of his critically acclaimed 2024 album, “Heis,” which earned him his first Grammy nomination.
Since breaking onto the global stage with the smash hit “Calm Down” and its remix featuring Selena Gomez, Rema has continued to expand his international influence by blending Afrobeats with R&B and dancehall. Fans will now be looking forward to his next studio album following the release of “TEA.”
