The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening a professional and combat-ready force to respond to Nigeria’s evolving security challenges.

This was stated by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, during the graduation of Special Forces Training Course 13/2026 held at the NAF Regiment Training Centre Annex in Bauchi. He was represented at the event by senior Air Force officials.

According to the Air Chief, modern security threats require highly trained and adaptable personnel. The training exposed participants to areas including counter-terrorism, combat survival, intelligence-driven operations, and other specialised military skills.

NAF says the successful completion of the course reflects its ongoing focus on capacity building and operational readiness to support national security objectives.
