BAUCHI GOVERNOR URGES NYSC MEMBERS TO DRIVE NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has called on newly deployed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to contribute actively to national development and unity through meaningful service to their host communities.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony for 1,700 corps members of the 2026 Batch “B” Stream I at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Wailo, Ganjuwa Local Government Area, the governor encouraged participants to begin planning impactful Community Development Service (CDS) projects from the start of their service year.

The governor also urged corps members to remain focused on the objectives of the NYSC scheme and conduct themselves responsibly throughout the orientation exercise and service period.

NYSC State Coordinator, Umoren Kufre, commended the corps members for their discipline, patriotism, and active participation in camp activities. He assured them of the scheme’s commitment to their safety and welfare while urging them to obey camp regulations and follow proper channels in resolving concerns.
