Seyi Ogunsakin has made a strong start to Week 2 of the NASCO/ITF J30 World Tennis Tour Junior Championship with a dominant victory in Abuja.
He defeated Joseph Ogbole 6-2, 6-0 in their Group A boys’ singles opening match held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Tennis Complex.
Ogunsakin, who performed strongly in Week 1 of the tournament, maintained control throughout the match to secure a straight-sets win and top Group A on Day One.
The second week of the championship continues in Abuja with players from 14 countries competing across both boys’ and girls’ categories.
