The Lagos State Police Command has intensified security across the state following the Eid-el-Kabir and Children’s Day celebrations.
According to the Command, personnel have been deployed to strategic locations including Eid prayer grounds, worship centres, recreation spots, highways, motor parks, and critical infrastructure to ensure the safety of lives and property.
The police also say officers have been directed to strengthen visibility policing, crowd control, and traffic management throughout the festive period. Residents are encouraged to remain calm, vigilant, and cooperate with security operatives on duty.
The Command further extended festive greetings to Muslim faithful and children across the state while urging everyone to celebrate responsibly and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.
