The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, has called on members of the Nigerian Armed Forces to continue to embrace unity, sacrifice and patriotism as Nigerians celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
In his goodwill message, Oluyede described the festival as a reminder of faith, obedience and selfless service, noting that these values are key to national peace and stability. He also felicitated military personnel, their families, and Nigerians across the country.
He commended troops deployed in various operations for their courage and dedication, assuring Nigerians of the Armed Forces’ continued commitment to restoring peace and security.
Oluyede also called for sustained public support and cooperation with security agencies, while wishing Nigerians a peaceful and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
