President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the reforms initiated by his administration will continue to deliver improved security, economic stability, and greater prosperity across the country.
He gave the assurance in his 2026 Eid-el-Kabir message released on Tuesday May 26 ahead of Wednesday’s celebration.
The president acknowledged the security challenges still confronting parts of the country, in spite of recent successes recorded. He however gave the assurance that his administration will ultimately rise above these challenges.
President TInubu further extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, describing the festival as a period of sacrifice, compassion, unity and devotion to God.
He urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace, national unity and wisdom for leaders at all levels. He also appealed to Nigerians to support the less privileged and strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and national unity.
The president reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in security, infrastructure, agriculture and human capital development to improve the lives of citizens.
He wished Nigerians a peaceful and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration and prayed for continued peace and progress in the country.
