An educationist, Mrs Nkechi Fakoya, has advised professionals to embrace risk-taking as part of efforts to grow and advance in their careers.
She gave the advice during an interview in Lagos, noting that fear of losing stability often prevents many professionals and entrepreneurs from reaching their full potential.
Fakoya said training she received at a Lagos-based business school helped her develop stronger skills in leadership, financial decision-making, negotiation, and the use of modern tools in education. She added that the experience has been valuable in her role as a school principal.
A representative of the business school also explained that its programmes are designed to equip learners with practical, job-ready skills for leadership, business growth, and workplace effectiveness.
