The Imo State Police Command says 300 officers have completed training in forensic and fraud investigation to strengthen policing and improve service delivery.
According to the Command, the two-day training focused on modern investigative techniques, intelligence-led policing, and methods for tackling financial crimes and other emerging threats.
Participants also received lectures on anti-money laundering, terrorist financing, and financial intelligence cooperation, aimed at improving evidence-based investigations.
Authorities say the programme is part of ongoing police reforms designed to boost capacity, enhance professionalism, and strengthen public confidence in law enforcement.
