Governor Umaru Bago has urged APC candidates who emerged from the party’s House of Representatives and Senate primaries in Niger State to remain united and focused ahead of the general elections.
Speaking in Minna after the announcement of the primary results, Bago cautioned the party’s flag-bearers against assuming victory in the general elections. He advised them to reach out to aspirants who stepped down or contested against them in the spirit of sportsmanship and reconciliation.
The governor also commended the APC electoral committee for conducting what he described as a smooth primary process and praised party stakeholders for their support throughout the exercise.
