The Kaduna Multi-Door Courthouse (KDMDC) is stepping up efforts to improve access to justice by expanding alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services across communities in Kaduna State.
The centre says its upcoming Settlement Week, scheduled for July 27 to August 31, 2026, will bring mediation, reconciliation and other dispute resolution services closer to residents through both community outreach and a main programme in Kaduna.
According to the centre, the initiative is designed to resolve disputes faster and more amicably while reducing pressure on conventional courts. It handles issues including family, land, commercial, labour and community disputes using mediation, arbitration and other ADR methods.
The KDMDC also continues to train mediators and collaborate with legal and justice organisations to strengthen peaceful dispute resolution and promote harmony across the state.
