Ghari Local Government Area in Kano State has restated its commitment to strengthening the education sector as a foundation for societal development.
The Chairman of the council, Alhaji Hashimu Garba, said efforts will continue to improve learning conditions for students and teachers across the area.
As part of ongoing projects, the council has completed the renovation of Hugungumai Secondary School. The upgrade includes improved classrooms, administrative offices, and general facilities aimed at supporting teaching and learning.
Residents have commended the initiative, describing it as a positive step toward improving educational standards in the area. The council says it remains focused on projects that support long-term development.
