Abuja — The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has dismantled multiple drug hubs across the FCT, arresting 132 suspects and recovering over 220kg of illicit substances in a two-week crackdown.
The raids, backed by intelligence and surveillance, targeted major hotspots including Gwarinpa, Wuse, Kubwa, Jabi, and Suleja, among others.
Recovered items ranged from cannabis and tramadol to cocaine and methamphetamine, as operatives disrupted key distribution networks.
Despite resistance in some areas, NDLEA said its officers overpowered the syndicates without casualties.
Chairman Buba Marwa praised the operation and ordered similar crackdowns nationwide to sustain pressure on drug traffickers.
