POLICE CRACK CULT ROBBERY GANG IN ILORIN, GUN RECOVERED

Listen

The Kwara State Police Command has busted a cult-linked robbery ring in Ilorin, arresting two suspects and recovering a firearm.

The suspects—Abdulazeez Isiaq aka “Pumpin” and Rilwan Mohammed—were picked up after a robbery at Kabba Kajola Junction in the Amoyo area.

Police say victims were dragged into an uncompleted building used as a hideout, threatened, and robbed of their belongings.

Recovered items include a locally made pistol and a stolen phone, while investigations link the suspects to the notorious Eiye confraternity.

Authorities say one gang member is still on the run, but the arrest is a major hit on organised crime in the area.
